About Our Founder

Vandavid Vernon, a former Operation Specialist in the United States Navy, returned home to Spartanburg, SC in 2009 with a strong determination to support fellow veterans. Recognizing the unmet needs of veterans and their families, he established "Let's Talk Face2Face," which later became the Nonprofit 501c3 "Vernon Veteran Services Inc." Partnering with local veteran-owned businesses and organizations, Vandavid and his team provide recreational therapy, counseling, and mentoring to veterans battling PTSD, anxiety, and depression. Their mission is to serve veterans locally and nationally, ensuring they receive the support and resources they need to thrive.
